At River of Life, we are dedicated to faithfully studying, obeying, and proclaiming God’s Word so that we may walk in His truth, experience His healing, and share His love with the world.
Founded on Scripture
At River of Life, we stand firmly on the conviction that all that is necessary for eternal life is found in the Holy Scriptures. We believe that the Bible is the inspired, living, and powerful Word of God, fully sufficient to guide us in faith and practice.
We are compelled by the gospel of Jesus Christ to proclaim His message of salvation, bringing others into the life that is found in Him alone. Our calling is to preach and live out the truth of God’s Word without adding any burden beyond what is clearly taught in Scripture (Matthew 23:4).
We affirm that obedience to the doctrines of Christ leads to transformed lives. As followers of Jesus, we are committed to continually searching the Scriptures for the words of eternal life. As Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 3:15-17, the Scriptures have the power to make us wise for salvation, teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training us in righteousness. The Word of God is our ultimate authority, equipping us for every good work of the gospel.
Miracles are for Today
We also believe in the power of God to heal—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—according to His will. Throughout Scripture, we see that Jesus healed the sick, restored the broken, and brought wholeness to those in need. As believers, we trust that God still works miracles today and that prayer, faith, and obedience to His Word invite His healing power into our lives. Whether through divine intervention or through the wisdom He gives to medical professionals, we believe that ultimate healing comes from God alone.
